2021

2019

Jodi was one of three finalists for the 2019 Maine Literary Awards in the Short Works, Fiction category for her submission, "Leaving the Land," a short story written during her time in residency at the Fiore Art Center last summer and inspired by a dance in the trees she witnessed at (stillness) 18, a performance art celebration of the land. 

​

Jodi's story, "Rest Stop," was selected for the anthology North by Northeast: New Short Fiction by Writers from Maine and New England published in June by Littoral Books.

​

Jodi was recently named the 2019 Monson Arts: MWPA Fellow and will be spending a month in the fall in residency working on a new book.

2018

​

Jodi was the Maine Writer in Residence at the Joseph A. Fiore Art Center selected by a jury through the Maine Farmland Trust. She spent five weeks working on her novel-in-progress, Daughters of Salt River , and writing essays about her time spent there.

2017

They Could Live With Themselves, a linked story collection set in the fictional town of  Stark Run, Vermont is runner up for the 2015 Press 53 Award for Short Fiction.
